FILDZA

A classically trained violinist, and rock-band singer, Filzda, delicately navigates the balance of two vastly different musical worlds in Bozeman where her diverse artistic expression and community fuse together to help define one of the city's most unique musicians. Through the highs from the raw-energy of her rock band and her performances with the Bozeman symphony, she looks to find clarity in her life as a multifaceted musician.

Artist Statement

My filmmaking lives at the intersection of people, place, and purpose, guided by an observational approach that values subtlety and emotional honesty. I’m drawn to individuals whose lives are deeply intertwined with their craft, their communities, and the natural environments they inhabit. Rather than relying on spectacle, I focus on the quiet, often overlooked moments that reveal the deeper connections between humans and the landscapes they move through. My goal is to create films that not only reflect the spirit of a place, but also invite a deeper sense of connection between viewers and the natural world.
